Broccoli, Cheese, & Rice

This is a family staple around here.

You need:
  • 2 regular cans of Cream of Chicken Soup or 1 large can
  • Water
  • Bag of frozen broccoli or fresh if you have it
  • Instant Rice, We use brown in the small box
  • A bag of Cheese (Cheddar Blend)

Pour the chicken soup into a saucepan, fill can(s) with water and add to soup, bring to a boil.  Add Broccoli, bring back to a boil.  Add Rice (1/2 box if you want it soupy, whole box if you want it thicker) and cook for 5 min at a simmer.  Remove from heat, add cheese, stir until melted and enjoy!  (Careful it's hot and DELICIOUS!!)

Bio Ionic Agave Healing Oil Review

I received the above products through Sublime Media Connection in exchange for an honest review. In no way was I asked to give a positive review.
I have received the above products for free for review on "Pickles and Peppers". I only recommend products/services I use personally & believe my readers will enjoy and/or benefit from.  I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising."

My daughter has the most unruly hair.  It's frizzy, looks unhealthy, and just so frustrating to look at!  Having the chance to review Bio Ionic Healing Agave Oil Treatment was like a godsend.  The oil treatment was not heavy like most hair treatments.  It was light which left her hair manageable and soft.  I actually WANTED to touch it.  The Agave Oil also heals and protects the hair when you use it.  I noticed her hair was actually shiny and healthy looking.  I don't remember ever seeing her hair like that with a simple oil treatment.  She did have a little trouble opening the pump, but after handing me the bottle it was a simple turn to unlock the pump.  I'd love to say she's a blonde some days, but she's really just got her head in the clouds like most artists.  This also explains why we have no before and after pictures this time.  She went on a trip to Colorado before I got a chance to take the pics!
I was also happy to see that there is also a smoothing treatment by Bio Ionic and it's part of the Agave Oil line.  My housemate has been looking into relaxers, but I think this smoothing treatment would be a healthier alternative and the results look amazing.

Backing up your Blogger blog

Okay, I know some people have posts about this, but all of the ones I can find are outdated.  I mean they are in the old format, so I'm going to try to explain to you step by step, how to back up your Blogger blog!

  1. Go to your "Dashboard"
  2. Go to the "Settings" Tab
  3. Under "Blog Tools" at the top select "Export Blog".  When it asks you select "Download Blog" then "Save File".  It will then download to your "Downloads" Folder.  You can leave it there or you can go into it and save it elsewhere.

Dermagist Eye Precision System Review

I have received the below product(s) for free for review on "Pickles and Peppers". I only recommend products/services I use personally & believe my readers will enjoy and/or benefit from.
I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising."

When I was asked if I'd like to review one of Dermagist's products, I was thrilled.  I have these wrinkles that have seemed to creep up from no where!  They are especially prevalent around my eyes.  I also have bags under my eyes with dark circles.  When I mentioned that issue to my contact, Nicole, she recommended the Dermagist Eye Precision System.  I was more than eager to try it out.

This is how my eyes originally looked.  There are more wrinkles than you can see though.  I love my iPhone for that reason if none other.  I loved that the Dermagist Eye Precision System had two parts to it.  The Eye Revolution Gel which is to help lessen the appearance of bags under the eyes, dark circles, and reduce the puffiness under the eyes.  The second part is The Instant Effect Lifting Serum which tightens the skin without that filmy layer over your skin.

I can tell a significant difference and it's only been two weeks.  I love that both products are very light and not sticky.  I highly recommend using the Dermagist Eye Precision System.  Check out Dermagist and their other products on their website, or follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Groovebook Review & Free Groovebook Code (incl shipping!)

I have received the below product(s) for free for review on "Pickles and Peppers". I only recommend products/services I use personally & believe my readers will enjoy and/or benefit from.

When I first heard about Groovebook I was very excited, because I use my phone to take all of my pictures now.  Groovebook is an application that you put on your phone and then upload the pictures on your phone that you want to print once a month.  Then I found out you can load 100 pictures a month and only have to pay $2.99 for shipping, I was instantly addicted.  I received my first book for free (shipping included) which you will also be able to receive with the code at the end of this review.

When I opened my Groovebook I was happily surprised that the cover is a very pretty and nice silver metallic color.  When I opened the book I automatically noticed that the pictures are perforated, awesome since I'm sure my family is going to steal some of them!

The best feature?  They use the information coded into my photo and print when the photo was taken and where (if you have that capability on your phone and it's turned on).  I LOVE LOVE LOVE that!  I'm so horrible about remembering dates of when I took photos, now if someone asks if I have a photo from Halloween 2012 I know I do because it's in my Groovebook!!

You can follow Groovebook on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.  Now for the part you've all been waiting for......The code for your very own FREE Groovebook!!!

You can learn how to use this application on their Website or YouTube.
